For now I am just going to post a few pics of my new toy. It is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA.

Right now it is pretty much stock. TPI 350 with a 4 speed automatic transmission.

I am about to install a Spohn Torque Arm, Adjustable LCA's, and adjustable Pan hard Bar.

I took the car to Little River and ran 7 passes with the best of 15.1 @ 93MPH

and a worst of 15.37 @ 92.27. Slow but consistent.

8-21-03. Finished adding a few new parts. Installed the Spohn LCA, Pan Hard Bar, Transmission cross member with Polyurethane mount and Torque Arm. Set pinion angle at -1. Suspension feels good. Added a 3 inch Aluminum Drive Shaft from a 4th gen Camaro. Had the front end aligned. Power adders include a Thunder Racing Air Foil, MSD 6AL and an SLP CAI kit. Set the Minimum Idle Air adjustment and set the timing to 8 Deg BTDC. Replaced all of the rocker adjustment nuts and adjusted the valves. I had one valve that kept coming out of adjustment. I also moved the battery to the back of the car using a Moroso sealed battery box and replaced the fuel filter.

8-23-03. Took the GTA to San Antonio Raceway last night. Ran a best time of 14.50 @94.7 MPH. That is a 6 tenths improvement over last time. had a best 60 ft time of 2.08. I only got 3 passes in but car ran good. I will update again after the next mods.
